Long Lonely Night
On a long lonely night Why should I be afraid On a long lonely night I’ll pray as Jesus prayed
On a long lonely night Before that fateful day On a long lonely night Jesus knelt to pray
Blood and sweat fell to the ground As Jesus knelt and prayed I shall always do your will I will not be afraid
You’ve said that fear is of this earth There is no fear with you With your power I’ll conquer fear So all will know it’s true
If it is within your will Let this cup pass from me But if I must sacrifice I’ll hang upon the tree
On a long lonely night I will not be afraid On a long lonely night I’ll pray as Jesus prayed
I will always understand The price that Jesus paid I shall always do your will I will not be afraid
I know it is through fear That sin can enter in Through Jesus Christ I conquer fear I won’t walk that path again
If it is within your will Let this cup pass from me But if I must sacrifice I know I’ll soon be free
On a long lonely night I will not be afraid On a long lonely night I’ll pray as Jesus prayed
